In your everyday life do you notice more and more people misrepresenting the truth? No matter who we interact with there is constantly some level of concealment. What is it that causes us to have to conceal? Sometimes it might be done to protect someone you love, sometimes we don’t want to hurt someone’s feelings, other times we might just be protecting ourselves from the truth we are unwilling to face or confront, still other times it is done on purpose to produce the result you want.

I have mostly come across the reason why we deceive ourselves and others, is to protect our ego. We are consciousness, spirit, soul. We are not our ego. Our ego deceives us into believing, it is us. It isn’t. It tricks us into playing its game. Either way be careful. If you use it as a tactic, it might work for a while but used over and over as a weapon of choice, and you may notice it stops working for you.

When your ego produces negative thoughts and we buy into them, we are being played. When our ego produces negative emotions and lures us into stories about past or present painful situations, we are being played. We play the game because we are being deceived into believing we are IT, we are not, we are that which observes IT.  You, the real you, doesn’t need to be protected. Your ego does.

When you lie and rearrange the truth to suit your needs, your ego makes it acceptable and pretends to protect you by making it seem like your reasons for doing so are noble and good. When your deception is revealed to others, your ego makes it acceptable and pretends to protect you by rearranging things to make you appear the victim. Your ego does all this only ever to protect itself and get its own way constantly. The less you identify with it, the less its grip on trying to control you.

The more you deceive and suppress things, the more they have a way of coming to the surface. Have you heard about the law of reversed effort? Sooner or later that which you have tried to keep hidden, will find its way out. This may take a while to happen, sometimes, but once it does, its like the floodgates have been opened, and it cannot be stopped.

No one can control the deception told to them. The best way to counteract your own deception is by asking yourself to prove the facts you believe about yourself. So if you say you are kind and compassionate and caring, then can you come up with examples from your life that would validate your belief? I also find it helpful to pull away from one’s own viewpoint and start to see things from the other person’s perspective. This way ensuring you are not deceiving yourself, as you don’t need protecting.

You can handle the truth!

Do you think our prejudices determine that we believe that a person’s race, religion or sex determines their actions? Do you think this is the basis of our every decision?

Are we so blinded by our prejudices that we will believe anything? Every time i hear we need more people of this race or that sex or this religious affiliation or that income bracket, in this or that field in order to promote those issues, i feel like we are being fooled into a particular way of thinking, which is manipulative.

Why do we feel that a white person will work mostly for the benefit of white people only or that a black person will similarly work only for the benefit of his or her own race of people? What about believing that only a woman can improve conditions for other women?

This in my opinion is a completely incorrect assumption. We have had people of every background and not only is there no proof that they worked for the benefit of their race or class or religious sect or sex they belonged to. Yet we keep hearing the same arguments over and over again. Only a woman can work for the rights of other women, only a black person can work to improve conditions for the black community, only a muslim or hindu or christian or jewish person can help those communities gain strides forward in the world. I do not follow this way of thinking at all.

I know men who don’t just believe in women’s rights and equality but live in a way that proves this belief daily. I know women who in positions of power do nothing to help and uplift other women, and I know yet other women who don’t just talk about women’s empowerment but believe in human empowerment and in helping all people achieve their goals.

Prejudices and biases are within someone’s heart. We all have certain prejudices and biases, but we have to address them within ourselves and question why we believe what we do and why? Working through our own issues, will bring healing to us and our wider circle.

What if we took a look at the opposite side of the picture. Do we want people in positions of power or authority who will only work for the category they fall under? So would it be okay for someone to only work for the black community or the white or the jewish or the hindu or the muslim, or their sexual preference group and so on and on and on? What about those who would only work for men or just women? Is this the world we want to live in?

What matters is what you believe within yourself. Know thyself.

The simplest way to communicate what it is, is to say that kundalini is a primordial energy force or shakti. The word kundalini, essentially means coil. It is also called the serpent energy force. When it lies dormant it is situated at the base of the spine. Once this energy is released it begins a spiritual awakening in you. This energy, life force is within each and every person. This awakening sometimes occurs spontaneously and sometimes it uncoils itself after long periods of deep meditation.

There are many stories of awakening, some horrifying and some blissful. This is because sometimes people have tried to forcefully awaken this energy and that can come with disastrous results. I would not advise you to force this awakening in anyway.

I will explain what happened to me. I was practising focusing on my breath to establish, quiet mind like Eckhart Tolle suggests in his book The Power of Now. As with most things, I move towards perfecting the things I practise, so I practised more and more and more. Once this was working in my life and I started to feel peaceful and calm, I started to work on my emotions and that worked well and so I just continued and continued. The more things were sorting out without conflict, the more I practised.

One day, everything I was practising and enjoying practising went very dark. I felt this heaviness within me, nothing would alter it. I felt as though I was metaphorically being held under water and yet I could see the light streaming through the water but I could not get my head above the surface of the water. I suddenly said out loud Lord Is this the pain body within me? My interpretation of the pain body as Mr Tolle explains it is this, every experience we have leaves a residue of pain and this merges with pain from our past and this accumulated pain is called in his words the pain body.

After I said those words, I was suddenly pinned. I could not move. I felt lit up from within. It felt as though a million light bulbs got switched on inside me at the exact same moment. After this I felt a lot lighter, like half my body weight suddenly left me. It was after this experience that the symptoms of kundalini began.

Even though I was experiencing the symptoms of kundalini, I was completely ignorant of what I was experiencing. I was unaware of the fact that what I was experiencing had a name?! It took a further seven months before I came across the word kundalini and understood what had been occuring in my life. It had a name, and I could now read up on it and understand it better. This is god saying, when it’s time for you to know, you will know. I believe a deep relationship with god, is essential to cope with the journey you get taken on through this kundalini awakening.

All will be revealed to you, when you need to know it, and no sooner. Everything happens in order. You can only resonate with concepts and ideas and perspectives when you’re ready too!

May the kundalini journey across the chakras, begin.

We seem to be in a maze between trying to figure out what is true and what is fake. We are moving towards governments telling us what is true and not, as we humans are deemed unable or incapable of deciphering that we have been ably figuring out for centuries!

What is the truth? Well before you can figure out if something is true or not, you have to change the way you listen to the news. When you listen to the news, notice how they move from information to information, topic to topic, never quite allowing you to be able to piece things together. For example, news of the economy is never related to any news about the banks, debt, companies being granted monopolies, tax avoidance, layoffs, or zero hour contracts.

Listening to information in isolation, is the beginning of the end of truth. Not only do they never connect the dots, they never want you to either! It would lead to the end of all news readers, although real journalistic endeavours, and those who present the full picture, will become the truth seekers, this world needs.

One key to putting the puzzle together is personal judgement. I have always lived by this saying, just because someone says something doesn’t make it true.

Many times in my life i would listen to the news or read articles and I would hear the government say things like we need to help people eat more healthy foods and then you notice the government allows the most unhealthy foods and ingredients to be allowed into everyday food items! Then you hear the government say we need people to save more but they allow the banks to offer practically 0 interest rate to savers! Then you have news about needing a strong military and the next thing you hear is there are more cuts to the military!

Sometimes I would ask myself what is going on, here? Why is all the information contrary to each other?

Information given without context is given to manipulate public opinion. Without context you cannot put things together for yourself in a cohesive way.

Another key to piecing the puzzle is perspective. A wide perspective. See perspective can only be gained if you step away. The way they try and get you is by sucking you into the day to day trickle down information, never allowing you to see any issue from a long term perspective, but rather getting you entwined into this or that issue that just occurred, that is urgent, requiring your complete, total and undivided attention, which of course it doesn’t. It’s the veil they use to distract, isolate and incubate us.

So here is my question to you. Can you handle the truth, when you are presented with it?  Do you shy away, from it? Intimidated. Do you mull it over and decide for yourself , whether an issue is being portrayed with neutrality or biases? Through facts or half truths and manipulations?  Through cohesive analysis or incoherent psyops?

The truth is out there. The key to finding it, is to look at the same issue from as many different viewpoints as possible. Seek and ye shall find. Let’s use the truth to set us free!

Are there things in your life you would like to transcend? If only you could, you say to yourself. Well there is a concept that allows you to do just that, the realization and practice of it provides you the ability to transcend.

To transcend something is not to get rid of it, it is the capacity to rise above it. The present moment is the only space, where you can transcend anything. The past is just that, it cannot be altered as you have already made those choices. Those choices bring this moment into being. The future depends on the choices you make moment by moment.

The reason we keep making the same choices is because the same situations keep coming round, and you react the same and that brings round the same situation and the circle keeps going. Transcending the situation is going to require you making a different choice to the same situation.

To do this, it is helpful to learn to detach from the five senses. What decides your state of being is your thoughts, your emotions and your actions. If you want to transcend your life situations, this requires learning to control your thoughts, emotions and actions, from moment to moment. Another helpful concept is to allow yourself to get into the practise of observing yourself, your thoughts, emotions and actions. This is not a new concept by any means, but it is a life changing one, once you put it into effect in your life.

Detaching yourself from your thoughts and emotions, allows space and space allows you to make a different choice and that results in a different outcome, which brings a different result and this break, frees you to transcend.

The space, that this creates, is what is required for you to transcend. I am not saying the problems you have will disappear. In fact the chances are they are not going to disappear, however, your reactions to them need to get to a neutral space, so that your problems are no longer holding you hostage. Therefore creating a space where you are able to decide for yourself how you want to react to your life situations, is essential. If you work to create the ability to detach and rise above it, you will be able to cope with the issue, maybe not solve it immediately but it will not be all powerful in your life anymore.

So how do you create this space?  The practice of meditation is a good start. This simple exercise allows you to silence your thoughts, and center yourself away from the non stop constant dialogue going on in your head and allows for some peace of mind.

Peace of mind allows you to choose your action in a way that then allows you to transcend the situation you are facing, by allowing you to react in a new way which will bring about a new set of consequences and thus guide you onto a new path, ending the merry go round effect in your life.

And so begins with baby steps your journey into transcendence.

Don’t you wish people in positions of power would sometimes just sometimes admit they don’t have all the answers, and instead just say I don’t have the answer.

Is it fearful to you when you don’t have all the answers? If you answered yes, why? I think it’s generally because we want to be able to be in control and not knowing requires letting go.

This requires a lot of practice. Letting go is hard because it is fraught with fear.

So how do we cope with the fear and let go anyway. To begin, you have to be aware of your fear, then figure out what situations cause you the greatest fear, then understand that the fear is there because you feel helpless. Once you get to this stage you need to know acceptance is the only antidote to feelings of helplessness.

Acceptance is admitting you don’t have all the answers and need help. When you accept with complete surrender, help arrives. Assistance arrives in all shapes and forms, so being open to how help comes to you isn’t as important as staying in acceptance and gratitude.

Magic happens when you accept things as they are and not the way you need or want them to be. It’s as if things miraculously change tracks. Now be alert, you cannot trick your way to the outcome you want. You really have to be in complete acceptance of things as they are, as they may remain there and you will have to cope.

When you don’t know what is going to happen, it can also be seen as a waiting game. Does being made to wait feel like the end of the world to you? Impatience a trait you struggle with?

Waiting can feel like you are being blocked from getting where you feel you want to be, it can also be seen as you are not ready to handle the blessings coming your way yet, and so you are being nurtured and prepared for what’s to come and wonders not yet imagined by you are on their way, just be in acceptance, it’s heading to you!

Not knowing is a transition stage. It’s a stage of incubation, during which you decide which way things are going to move based on your reactions to your life situation. If you stay positive or better yet neutral to what is happening to you, the outcome will be in your best interest anyway as you are unattached to the outcome you want or need.

When you decide you have all the answers, learning is put on hold. Our entire journey on this earth is about learning. Being honest enough to admit you know nothing, frees you, and is the beginning of a lifelong journey to gain knowledge.

I KNOW NOTHING! Let the learning begin.

Today you see overwhelming situations such as violence and abuse against women, the gun violence issue, the racial issues, the terrorism issue, the wars, equality issues. When you look at each issue in isolation and look to someone else to resolve it, whether that be looking to the community you live in to resolve or your city or your government, you will always end up with sweeping actions that bundle up everything and everyone together, and give you the band aid approach. This never solves the issue because you are taking something that is about personal choice and responsibility and clubbing it into a collective solution which sweeps up the innocent and the guilty with consequences for both.

What allows clearly hurtful, harmful, disconnected, and hate filled action? A society is filled up of individuals who harm one another. The solution cannot be collective when the crimes are committed by individuals.

Behaviour is about learning that one’s actions bring with it reactions [consequences]. However we are now living in a society where there never seem to be any consequences for the heinous acts committed. We now blame everyone for the actions of individuals.

We are made to believe men or women, grow up and one day just decide to start abusing other people, or have ideas and assumptions of superiority over other races, or religions or that someone just decides one day to wake up and shoot and kill people, or that there are people who just decide when given positions of power to suddenly begin to take advantage of vulnerable people.

Who believes these things just happen and are not a pattern of behaviour, either from personal trauma from childhood or learnt and quietly permitted behaviour, that was ignored, belittled, kept silent on, or absolved?

Every time there is an outcry of injustice by this or that group, we want to blame  everyone within that group. We need to be alert to being coerced into this way of thinking and acting, because it then brings into effect more government controls.

When we ask for and allow collective solutions to individual actions, what we are essentially asking for is going to mask the problem, never to solve it. It will also allow us to be shackled further and further, all the while providing us with superficial solutions.

Look at any issue and the legislation governments have brought into effect to essentially solve them. Have they? I would say no. How many issues have become worse in the ensuing years, even though legislations are increasing at a frightening pace? No forced legislation ever works and yet we are moving towards legislating every human behaviour, because someone is hurt or offended? We are heading at a rapid pace to forced behaviour modification. So the question i ask is, as a society are we better of today because of all the rules and regulations? Are we safer? Are we a more equal society, are we racially more cohesive because of all the so called solutions, governments have come up with or are things getting worse?

Band aid solutions are great at covering up wounds and sometimes allowing healing to take place, however they are never able to get to the root cause, as that is not the role they are there to play.

The good life does not exist, not in the conventional sense anyway. Not in the easy, comfortable, floating in the clouds way, you may imagine life is possible. Thinking and imagining your life this way is a sure fire way to dwell in constant discontent.

The good life is one where you choose to do good in your life daily. The faith I was born into teaches, good thoughts, good words and good deeds. I would include good [positive] emotions as well. This would most certainly be called living the good life, not the easy life but definitely the good life.

This life is not the less challenging life, far from it. Love, goodness, kindness, compassion, forgiveness, empathy, caring, generosity, righteousness, peace and joy are not worked on easily. It is a constant choice. Everytime you choose to do the right thing you open yourself up to opposition, all who speak their truth, know this from experience.

While you are deciding whether to do good, it almost feels like suddenly the lure to go negative appears out of nowhere. It is the mind that tries to get you to choose the easier option giving you reasons for doing so. However if you stick to your decision to do good, then the real opposition steps in to block you, and thwart your path. It is always you that decides. You can ignore everything and do what you believe is right regardless of difficulty, or you can stop in your tracks. The more good you do, the greater the challenges and blockades that come your way which is a fact you have to know and understand.

So i hear you ask the follow up, well why should we choose to live the good life, then?

Well i see it like this. There are two reasons why. One is doing right for right’s sake. For those of us who try daily to live this way, it isn’t really a choice, we just try and do so because it is right, and no other reason is necessary. Another reason is this, everytime you choose to do good, it’s like you are putting aside money for a rainy day. When the storms arrive you are protected more than you can ever imagine.

I have experienced this personally, there have been so many times I was unaware, I required protecting but i know I was protected only by looking back at events in hindsight. This is the thing, when you do good, and just keep at it, it may appear as though all the good you are trying to do is amounting to nothing, because you are still not getting what you want. However all you do adds up and you receive your blessings in ways that are not always plainly visible and may not be visible till after the fact. So don’t despair, it is working.

If you look at your life as a mirror and what you do gets reflected back to you, don’t you want love, goodness, kindness, compassion, forgiveness, empathy, caring, generosity, righteousness, peace and joy reflected back to you? I do.

These days all you hear about is Artificial Intelligence, and its ability to take over most human jobs and everyday tasks and that’s supposed to be a good thing, freeing us to do other things.

Do you ever wonder what we are here to do? We work, have families, enjoy ourselves, go through struggles and eventually pass away. Is that all there is to this journey on earth?

I believe we are meant to be on a journey of spiritual awareness and higher consciousness.

We are currently advancing research into Artificial intelligence, which is ultimately looking towards merging AI with the human mind. I have learnt this is to try and avoid the unpleasant and unavoidable, at present, problem of human mortality. If AI is smarter than humans, and they are essentially robots, hence immortal, what will they need humans for anyway after a certain level of learning? We seem aware that we are creating and empowering that, which may well choose to make us redundant, and yet we seem unwilling to curtail it? Why?

Yet there is something else that comes up in conversations about AI, and that is consciousness. Will AI have the power to develop consciousness? Consciousness, is the ability to be aware of what is within oneself. It is this, that is special to us humans.

There are two things that make us humans extraordinary. It is our mind AND our heart. It is the connection between the two that guides our consciousness higher. If we want to achieve higher levels of consciousness, it is the mind that we must learn to quieten and eventually control. But it is our heart that must be our guide for our every action.

It is our mind we use to have thoughts and receive insights. These thoughts and insights create the emotions we experience, our thoughts and sometimes our emotions then flow into our actions. It is our mind that determines our reality. If we allow the tapping into of our mind, we are essentially handing over who we are and capable of being, as well as all of our experiences, to be placed into a computer.

Technology being created to merge AI with our minds is understandable, our minds are  extraordinary, but what makes the most enlightened human is always the merging of mind and heart. Our minds can be manipulated, deceived, decoded but that which keeps us, on the right path is our heart. That which is done from a pure heart can never be wrong. The mind without the heart is like flying an airplane without any navigation.

Are we ok with AI working and supposedly helping humanity, while only working from the mind and not the heart?  How will it play out if that which guides them, doesn’t come from a space of love?

Looking around, isn’t that what we have now? Political leaders making decisions that only come from the mind and not the heart. What about all the rules, regulations and laws being enacted, are they coming from a place of love, kindness, and compassion? Do we really want more of the same?

The ultimate Merging will be the enjoining of our hearts and minds, so that they work together, because you can’t have one work well without the other!

Do you want to know who you are? The answer lies beyond the physical you. You are the Observer. You are awareness, the witnessing presence, in all things. Words cannot define you. I think circumstances try and force us to get involved. To do, to be, to like or dislike, to agree or disagree. We are always forced to take sides. Being, is never sufficient.

Try being a witness to your life, sometimes. Try not allowing yourself to get dragged into reacting to every little incident and see what happens? Trust in your power to just be the observer. This is not an easy thing to practice or live.

Being the witness, involves you being neutral. Tied to neither side nor the outcome. When you observe your life and its circumstances, and stop interfering in it, what you are really doing is allowing space. Space for things to be, just as they are, and as they may need to be, regardless of your preference. This space is where solutions are allowed not forced.

I am not saying do nothing. I am saying if action is required, act. Take right action. I am saying do that which you need to do without trying to control the situation or the outcome.

Doing is fine, controlling behavior is not helpful. In fact, when you try to control things, the help you need stays away because you have decided, you know best!

So how do we apply this, ‘Be, the Observer’ principle? Well it applies to all life situations. Family, work, friends, corporations, countries, anything. Let’s take a few questions we might sometimes ask ourselves. Can I trust this person? Well observe them and their actions and you will know. What about, Is this person, lying to me? Well observe how they behave with you and others. Their actions are your answer.

Since we are now in times where we are asked to gauge between truth and fake news, I think we should all know how to spot what is real, don’t you?

When presented with information, I do not agree with it nor disagree. I listen. I do not pass judgement nor approval, I just listen. Well we still have the pesky problem of how do we know, if what is said is the truth? Well time always reveals all truths, so that is one way. The other is this, ‘Ye shall know them by their fruits’. Be a witness to all information. Be and observe. Watch what people or governments or organizations stand for, observe who they help, not just what they say, but what they DO and all will be revealed to you. You will not need to be told, you will know.  Actions are your answer. When it says ‘Fruits’ what i take it to mean is ‘Deeds’.

Our lives seem fraught with contradictions. Either you are with us or against us. Everything seems to be about forcing us to fight for or against, take your pick, families, religions, races, countries, the list goes on and on. Neutrality is nowhere. This is because you cannot be dragged into conflict when you are in a state of neutrality. Neutrality is not about not caring, it is about caring so deeply about everything that you cannot and will not allow yourself to be torn apart from your own humanity. Being one with all things.
